How to Set Up Discount
- Log in to your Revel Management Console:
- Open a web browser and go to your Revel Systems Management Console login page.
- Enter your credentials and log in.
- Navigate to the Discounts Section:
- From the dashboard, go to
Products
in the left-hand menu.
- Select
Discounts
from the drop-down menu.
- Create a New Discount:
- Click on the
Add a Discount
button to create a new discount.
- Set Up the $15 Discount:
- Name: Enter a name for the discount (e.g., "Offline $15 Discount").
- Amount: Set the discount amount to $15.
- Type: Ensure the discount type is set to a fixed amount (not a percentage).
- Label: Enter "offline" as the label for this discount.
- Other Settings: Configure any other settings as needed, such as applicability, restrictions, or usage limits.
- Save the discount by clicking the
Save
button.
- Create the $10 Discount:
- Repeat the process above to create another discount.
- Name: Enter a name for the discount (e.g., "Offline $10 Discount").
- Amount: Set the discount amount to $10.
- Type: Ensure the discount type is set to a fixed amount (not a percentage).
- Label: Enter "offline" as the label for this discount.
- Other Settings: Configure any other settings as needed, such as applicability, restrictions, or usage limits.
- Save the discount by clicking the
Save
button.
- Verify the Discounts:
- Go to your POS terminal and log in.
- Ensure that the new discounts are visible and can be applied during transactions.
- Test the Discounts:
- Perform a test transaction to verify that the discounts are working correctly.
- Apply the $15 discount labeled "offline" to a transaction.
- Apply the $10 discount labeled "offline" to another transaction.
- Ensure that the discounts are deducted from the total correctly.
Troubleshooting Discount Set up
