How to Set Up Discount

1. In SpotOn back end, go to settings (on the main nav or sidebar of the system) ➝ "Payments," "Pricing," or "Discounts" ➝ "Add new Discount"
2. Select a fixed dollar amount
3. Label the discount "Offline" or "Offline Promo"
4. Set the discount amount - Specify the exact dollar amount
5. Assign Discount Conditions
   1. Set minimum purchase requirements
   2. Limit the discount to certain days
6. Save and Apply Changes

How to Pull Data

1. In SpotOn back end, navigate to reporting on the main menu or toolbar
2. Within reporting look for "Discount Reports" or "Promotion Reports"
3. Select to view data for "Offline" or "Offline Promo"
4. Set the view to last month's date range
5. Click on "Generate" or "Run Report"
6. Export the report and send the digital report to your partnerships manager

How to Set Up Gratuity 

1. In the SpotOn back end, access the settings menu on the main navigation or side bar
2. Search for the option related to auto-gratuity it may be listed under the "Payments," "Tipping," or "Service Charge," section
3. Toggle the switch or check the box to enable auto-gratuity
4. Define gratuity make sure it is fixed ➝ type in whatever percentage here (i.e. 20%, 15%, etc)
   1. Select "yes" to assign to check owner 
   2. Click that you don't want it to be taxed
   3. Select "yes" on the pre-discount total
   4. Select dine-in as "yes"
5. Save and apply changes

How to Pull Data

1. In the SpotOn POS back end navigate to the reporting or analytics section on the main navigation or side bar.
2. Select Sales or Transaction Report for the discount labeled Offline
3. Choose last month's Date Range
4. Customize Report Columns
   1. Look for a "Customize Columns" or "Choose Columns" button or link.
   2. Select the columns that correspond to the data you need, such as "Number of People," "Total Labeled Discount Sum," and "Total Profitability/Net Sales."
5. Run the Report: After customizing the report columns, click on the "Run Report" or "Generate Report" button to generate the report based on your selected criteria.
6. Export or Print (Optional): If you want to save or share the data, SpotOn POS may offer options to export the report as a file (such as CSV or PDF) or to print it directly.
