How to Set up Discount

1. Go to Restaurant Manager Back Office -> Setup -> Settlement and Tips -> Coupons
2. Click General -> Coupon Name (Offline)
3. Detailed Description is optional
   1. Descriptions entered in this field will pop up automatically so users are aware of comp requirements
4. Under “Coupon Application,” choose “dollars off total check” and also fill out “maximum coupon value”
   1. To the right, apply security level desired
   2. Check box to apply to “Entire Check”
5. Click the “Advanced” tab to input usage restrictions 
   1. Slide “food” and “dessert”  to the right, as well as any other categories the Offline discount may apply to
      1. Keep in mind that NC law prohibits discounts on alcoholic beverages
6. By default, coupons are set to be available at all times
   1. To set parameters, click the “Dates/Times” tab
7. When done, click “OK” at bottom of screen
